Handicap Toilet Bidet Seats

We can help if you or a loved one is disabled or handicapped, and need an easy to use handicap toilet system. Yes, you still can go to the bathroom by yourself! You may not have heard about a bidet toilet seat before, but we are excited to introduce the concept to you.

A bidet toilet seat uses a stream of water to wash you after using the restroom. Simply activate the bidet’s WASH button and a nozzle will extend beneath you and start the wash feature. When done, press the DRY button and an air dryer will help with residual moisture after your wash.  What makes a bidet seat a great handicap toilet is that nothing touches you except water, and it can be a totally hands-free experience.

So the next question you’re probably asking yourself is, how do you install a bidet toilet seat? Well, we’ve prepared a brief video showing you how:

Bidet Toilet Seat Recommendations

We have a couple recommendations for a good bidet toilet seat. These bidets will help you or your family member regain some independence in their lives.

Bio Bidet BB 1000 - First, let’s start with the Bio Bidet BB 1000. The BB 1000 is a fully featured bidet seat which is operated with a wireless remote control. The remote control comes with a wall mounting kit so you can mount it on the wall. The remote control easily slides out from its mounting plate so you can use the remote from your lap, or you can control the bidet from the wall if you prefer.

Here are some of the great features you’ll find in the Bio Bidet BB 1000:

  • Wireless remote control
  • Adjustable water temperature
  • Adjustable water pressure
  • Self-cleaning wash nozzle
  • Warm air dryer
  • Heated toilet seat (great during the winter months)
  • Slow closing seat and lid (no more slamming seats)

Bio Bidet BB 2000 - our next recommendation for a good handicap toilet bidet seat would have to be the Bio Bidet BB 2000.  Arguably the finest bidet seat in the world, the BB 2000 is more technologically advanced than the Bio Bidet BB 1000.  It can do everything the BB 1000 can do, but has a few more bells and whistles.

In addition to the features you’ll find in the BB 1000, here are the extra features you’ll get with the Bio Bidet BB 2000:

  • Stainless steel wash nozzles
  • Tankless (instant) water heating
  • Wider spray
  • Night light
  • LCD display on remote control

Not only does the Bio Bidet BB 2000 come with these extra features, but it still comes with a wireless remote control (including wall mounting kit) as well.  Click on the pictures at the top of this page to learn more about these two bidet toilet seats.  You'll find a video review on each of these product pages as well, so you can watch a functioning demonstration of both seats on their respective pages.

Handicapped Toilet Accessories

Having been in the bidet business for several years, at bidetsPLUS we realize that simply replacing your toilet seat with a bidet seat may not be enough for a handicapped person. You may need a raised toilet seat to make it easier for you to sit down and get up.  Or, you may need a toilet safety frame with grab-bars to assist you further.  You can complete your handicap toilet system with the following products:

3" Toilet Seat Riser - our seat riser elevates the bidet seat by three inches (3”) to help you get up and down easier. We have tested our riser with all of our bidet seats and it is compatible with every model in our store.

Toilet Safety Frame - this toilet safety frame is equipped with grab bars so you can help yourself up and down as you use the toilet.  It also comes with a magazine rack so you can keep your reading material handy.

You can use the 3" Toilet Seat Riser and Toilet Safety frame in combination with our bidet seats.  For example - use the bidet seat with the 3" Toilet Seat Riser, or use the bidet seat with the Toilet Safety Frame.  You can also use the bidet seat with both the 3" Toilet Seat Riser AND Toilet Safety Frame for a complete handicap toilet system.
